I failed to mention that I finally tried a semi-tough (well, for me) tradition route at the New. It was Realignment (5.10d) at Junkyard which is actually a variation of the classic line The Entertainer (5.10a) dubbed after that fun ragtime/ice cream truck tune. Both lines are uber high quality and I was fortunate to get the onsight on both. I have only tried a few 10a's up until this point so it was a nice jump for me. Hopefully this experience can continue to cultivate some confidence and I won't be afraid to push myself a little harder in "tard" climbing.
